Residential Retreat at Beautiful Churn Barn
7 days of Peace to Immerse Yourself in Study
Chinley, High Peak, Peak District
One of the many advantages of being on a residential training is having the support of a group on and off the mat. The group is much stronger when people live together and the energy is shared and multiplied. You will get to know fantastic people and strong bonds are created between students and teachers.
You will study hard, increase your self-awareness, submerge yourself in a yogic lifestyle and cultivate friendships and lasting ties with all those around you. It's encouraging to be part of a group, to be supported by other members who are following the same path. Fellow students will help you to go deeper into your practice and you'll experience encouragement, support and motivation from all.
Why choose to train with us?
Small Group Sizes
Research has proven that smaller classes do better and perform better.
With our course limited to just 9 students we are able to give you our full attention.
You’ll get to express your opinion and perspective leading to a more enriched and meaningful learning. No learner gets left behind.
With fewer students on the course, individuals also connect more closely with their peers and become more comfortable and confident when it comes to sharing ideas and perspectives. Lasting friendships blossom.
Support & Mentorship
Yoga Teacher Training is an investment. It's so important to us as teachers that we provide you with a training that not only gets you started in your teaching career but provides a Yoga family, community and mentorship so that we continue to support and encourage you for many more years of learning and growing as a teacher.
Meet Your Teachers
Hi, I'm Lisa. My yoga journey began about 18 years ago when I attended my first yoga class. I will always be a student of yoga, but my teaching journey began in 2013 when I completed my foundation 200hrs YTT with Sun Power Yoga School.
Shortly after I opened a Yoga Studio in Derbyshire. As a busy mum to 5 children this was no small feat but I took a leap of faith and followed my calling to share these teachings, as part of my greater purpose in life. It has since been 7 years with a wonderful community of yogis and the greatest fulfilment.
I am honoured to be able to encourage others to follow their callings too, and to facilitate the beginning of your teaching journey, knowing the life changing impact it has had on my life and the potential it holds for you too.
I look forward to welcoming you to my studio in Derbyshire, and my wonderful community of YTT graduates.
Hi, I'm Stephanie and I'm Lisa's assistant for the course. My yoga journey began 14 years ago and truly changed the trajectory of my life.
I met Lisa in 2013 when we completed our foundational 200 hours training together and formed a lasting friendship.
After graduating from our training I followed a calling to go travelling and ended up spending the last 7 years exploring yoga, meditation, mindfulness, Buddhism, Taoism and so much more throughout South East Asia.
I'm passionate about sharing yoga as a philosophy and way of life, not simply a physical practice. As a practice that can improve mental health, emotional intelligence and overall wellbeing and quality of life.
